As a member of The Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society we have access to a wide ranging field in both traditional and modern designs as well as technical background.
Medieval Encaustic tiles
It is necessary to make a template and a mould for each individual pattern/design required for the encaustic tiles, therefore each pattern is priced individually according to the complexity of the design to be made. The price of making each mould varies according to the task and time required to produce it. A master copy is kept for any future repeats.
Tiles which are produced from these moulds are again then priced in the same way as some designs are produced from the moulds while others are produced from a stamp, again produced from the original mould. The impression made from the mould or stamp is filled with a coloured slip. POA
